About Us...
We met through mutual friends and family and to be honest the first time we saw each other neither of us took much notice of the other! It wasn’t long though after seeing each other out and about with friends that we were meeting up and exploring more of Brisbane on our own. Our catch ups soon became longer and more frequent and we realised how much we had in common (travel being number one on both our lists!) and enjoyed being in each other’s company. After a good six months on 22nd March 2014 we decided to make things a little more official and our story together began.
The Z in Z&N
Born in Melbourne, Australia, I've always called Australia home (cue soundtrack lol). We moved to Brisbane when I was about 3 and haven't really looked back. Throughout my schooling, I was always (and I guess still am) known as a perfectionist. One thing about me though, is that I'm always up for a challenge, whether it be in my personal or professional life. But to be honest, finding the perfect person wasn't as hard as I thought. And seeing as Natasha is really into me :p, making her my bride-to-be was one of the most enjoyable and memorable times of my life :D
The N in Z&N
I describe my life as being a little nomadic. I was born in Zimbabwe, spent most of my childhood in Botswana, spent a year in South Africa, 8 years in Adelaide and have now been in Brisbane closing on 3 years. As all of my family still live overseas moving to Brisbane was an easy choice, with so many people from Zimbabwe that I grew up with here already. It made making Brisbane feel like home instantly and this was solidified when I met Zamil and his family.
